Beat Sharapova, Serena End Waiting 11 Years

Long awaited Serena Williams at the French Open ends also. After 11 years, tennis player from the United States was finally back to win in Paris.

2002 was the last time Serena won the French Open. At that time, he managed to win the fight against his brother, Venus.

Serena then take up more than a decade to get back winning tournaments held at the Rolland Garros.

In this year's championship, Serena competed against Maria Sharapova in the final round which took place on Saturday (08/06/2013) evening hrs.

Serena managed to overcome the resistance Sharapova in straight sets, 6-4 and 6-4, in one hour 46 minutes duration.

Commenting on the course of action which is the Rome Masters final replay it some time ago, Serena revealed that the game is running hard.

"(Game) it was very difficult. After 11 years of waiting, it was incredible victory. Thank you to all the supporters. I want to come back to this place and won again. I thought I was the Paris now," Serena said as quoted by Reuters.
