Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert - are both up for New Artist of the Year from the Academy of Country Music, the first time a couple has been nominated against each other in this category.
When Brantley Gilbert proposed earlier this month to his girlfriend of one year, fellow country artist Jana Kramer, he didn't do it just anywhere. He chose Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium (home to the Grand Ole Opry for decades) as the setting.
Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert will get married at some point (a date is set, but he’s not sharing) and then keep cheering for each other, supporting each other and competing with each other. The ‘More Than Miles’ singer described his fiance as his best friend, but added that things can get heated between them in more ways than one.
Brantley said Jana Kramer was bad for him, but he think what you see is what you get. Jana definetly be and inspiration and a motivation by Gilbert.
